A Glimpse of Srimati Radharani

This workshop was the fourth in person workshop we hosted here in Florida with Dhrti dasi. We had participants fly and drive from all over the country to learn directly from her. 

The four-day intensive workshop, "The Queen of Vrindavan," led by the esteemed Dhrti dasi, a Bhakti artist with over 50 years of experience, was truly a conscious and life shifting experience.. This is not just a workshop; it’s an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the vibrant community of fellow Bhakti artists, share insights, and learn from the best in the field.

The Heart of Bhakti Art

Set in the serene surroundings of Newberry, FL, from April 4-6, 2024, this workshop was for Bhakti artists of all levels, whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills. Dhrti dasi's extensive knowledge and mastery guided each participant as they explored the intricate beauty of Srimati Radharani’s face, color, composition, basic drawing, and proportions. We all witnessed Dhrti paint a stunning portrait step-by-step, allowing us to absorb techniques and tips that have been honed over decades.

A Community of Creatives

What makes this workshop truly special is the wonderful association of like-minded artists. As you collaborate and learn alongside fellow Bhakti artists, you’ll find inspiration in their unique perspectives and experiences. The bonds formed during this workshop will extend beyond these four days, creating a supportive network of artists who share a passion for Bhakti art.

Nourishment for Body and Soul

In addition to the artistic journey, there was delicious prasadam lunches each day, with vegan options available to accommodate dietary restrictions. This nourishing food prepared by Bhakta Vatsala kept our energy levels high, ensuring we could fully engage in the creative process.
