Meet Jahnava dasi
Has Joined the BBT art department in the Caitanya Caritamrta rush in December of 1968. She is an illustrator of "The Beginning","The Jaladutta Diary" and children's book "Narada Muni and the Cobbler" any many Bhakti paintings.
Meet Annapurna dasi
Annapurna dasi is a watercolor artist originally from Sweden. She has illustrated for several books including the trilogy "Sita's Fire" written by her daughter Vrinda Sheth and "The Peaceable Forest: India’s Tale of Kindness to Animals"

In December of 2022 I had the privilege of participating in Dhriti’s art seminar held in Alachua, FL, hosted by the Krishna.com team. In a nutshell, it was an amazing and priceless experience. As an artsy kid who grew up flipping through the Krsna Art book, this was a dream come true, truly.
Dhriti prabhu is down to Earth, sweet, knowledgeable and a great teacher. She shared many memories from her early days in the BBT art department, and most importantly, Prabhupada’s personal instructions regarding the mood, appropriateness, and his own spiritual vision for their paintings.
The mood was friendly and of respect for everyone’s experiences. Even though many of us didn’t know each other when we got there, we all clicked right away.
I cannot emphasize enough how much I enjoyed the whole thing. I am so grateful to Dhriti for allowing us to learn from her, Priya for organizing such a wholesome event, and Bhakta Vatsala prabhu for feeding us with his delicious Prasada. Krishna willing, I hope to participate in as many art seminars as I can.
